Most of us spend our lives trusting God - as far as it's humanly logical to trust Him. Beyond that? Well, what does He expect, anyway? So there are many times, like the Danites, that God places us in impossible situations - for no other reason than to help us learn to trust Him, and only Him. Sometimes we've been putting so much trust in ourselves, our own abilities, our friends, our jobs, our families that we've forgotten who the source of all things is. Sometimes God just wants to remind us. And if we're very hardheaded, He has to remind us a little harder. and a few extra times. in fact, He will remind us as hard and as often as it takes for us to learn that lesson.
He wants us to have faith that He is great enough to handle all of our impossible situations, so pay attention if He brings this lesson your way. The quicker we learn to trust Him in ALL things, the more brief and less painful the lessons will be.
